Her capacity to inspire and motivate young cosmetologists is unparalleled, and she has dedicated her career to making elite professional training accessible to all aspiring beauty industry professionals. Raq’s journey started when she was just 11 years old and accepted into the prestigious New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). From then on, she has consistently honed her craft, became an award-winning Platform Artist and International Educator all thanks to her unwavering dedication and devotion to helping emerging professionals achieve their dreams.

My name is Akirah, and some may also know me as Luna. I had the opportunity to obtain my license at the age of 17 while still in high school. I’ve worked at various salons in Philadelphia, PA, and Houston, TX, since I was 15 yrs old. I am most definitely a hair lover of all hair types and textures, granting me the experience of servicing hundreds of fulfilled clients. Performing Hair Color services is one of my most favored services as it allows me to have creative reign and test my skills in all aspects. Along with servicing clients, I ensure healthy hair is my top priority, as healthy hair creates beautiful hair.
